Wellenbach Busts Smiljkovic in Setup Hand
Level 22
: 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Florian-Dimitrie Duta was the first casualty after coming back from the break and he was soon followed by Diogo Veiga. Daniel Smiljkovic followed them to the rail soon after and it was a huge setup hand that sent the German crashing out.
Scott Wellenbach raised first to act and Smiljkovic called in the big blind. The flop fell and Smiljkovic check-called a bet of 70,000 before doing so again on the turn for 125,000.
The river completed the board and Smiljkovic checked once more. Wellenbach bet 200,000 and called the shove of the German for 500,000 with [. Smiljkovic only had for the inferior set and was sent to the rail.
