Quenneville Straightens Out Bansal, Bansal Wins Some Back
Troy Quenneville and Raghav Bansal have clashed in back-to-back hands, winning one each. Quenneville came out of both encounters with more chips than he went in with though so he won’t be too unhappy.
In the first, it was Quenneville raising from the button to 67,000 with Bansal making the call from the big blind. Both players checked the flop and the turn before Bansal led for a tickly little 35,000 bet on the river.
Quenneville came over the top with a raise to 84,000 in total, and after thinking it over Bansal tossed in the call, but could only muck when Quenneville turned over[ 8c5c] for a turned straight.
The Canadian was at it again the next hand, opening from under-the-gun for 67,000 and when the action got around to Bansal he re-popped it up to 193,000.
Quenneville shot him a stare and made the call to bring the action to the rather arid flop. Bansal led for 161,000 and Quenneville folded immediately.
