Chen Sends Liang Out
Canlin Chen opened to 38,000 from under-the-gun and action folded around to Yu Liang in the big blind. Liang seemed eager to play and made the call to take the action heads-up to the flop.
Liang checked it over to Chen, who fired out an enticing 16,000 min-bet, which Liang felt obliged to call and it was off to the turn, which brought another check from Liang and another bet from Che, this one a slightly larger 50,000.
This sent Liang into tank mode for a while but he does eventually chose to call, leaving himself 86,000 behind. This found its way into the middle when the hit the river and Chen snap called.
Liang, holding had just rivered two pairs, but this was still not enough to beat Chen’s flopped set of sevens when he turned over to take the pot and bring Liang’s tournament to an abrupt end.
