Aldemir Doubles Through Chidwick

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened the button for 100,000 and Mustapha Kanit folded. Big blind Koray Aldemir pushed for 1,150,000 and Chidwick instantly called.

Koray Aldemir: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Stephen Chidwick: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

It was a flip and this time, Aldemir would come out ahead. The board came {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{A-Clubs} and Chidwick's stack was deminished to just under 9 big blinds.

Mustapha Kanit Takes from Koray Aldemir

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Koray Aldemir opened the button for what looked to be 125,000 and Mustapha Kanit called form the big blind. Kanit proceeded to check-call a bet of 110,000 on the {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and then both players checked the {3-Spades} turn.

When the {6-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Kanit led out for 340,000 and Aldemir called. Kanit tabled the {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for two pair and Aldemir mucked.

Oliver Weis Eliminated in 4th Place ($123,980)

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick and Mustapha Kanit both folded and action was on Oliver Weis in the small blind. He had folded his big blind to Chidwick the hand before, but wasn't going to let another hand go. He moved in and big blind Koray Aldemir called.

Oliver Weis: {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Koray Aldemir: {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Oliver Weis made his exit.

The remaining three players are guaranteed $161,700 from here on out.

Weis Keeps Doubling

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Oliver Weis first doubled with seven-three against the jack-seven of Koray Aldemir. Weis hit a three on the flop to double up.

Not much later, he moved in for 138,000 from the button. Big blind Chidwick called with {7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

"I only looked at one card," Weis said as he showed the {A-Spades}.

The {A-Diamonds} followed.

"Ow, that's pretty decent!" Weis exclaimed.

The board made things even better: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Another double for Weis.

Stephen Chidwick Gets There to Cripple Oliver Weis

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick moved all in under the gun for 655,000 and Oliver Weis moved all in over the top from the small blind for just 75,000 more. Koray Aldemir folded from the big and the cards were turned up.

Weis: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Chidwick: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

It was a bad spot for Chidwick, but not after the flop came down {7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades} to give him two pair. Neither the {K-Hearts} turn nor {6-Hearts} river helped Weis and he was crippled after the hand.

Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Oliver Weis was first to act and raised to 85,000. Small blind Mustapha Kanit shoved all in and big blind Dario Sammartino called all in just about instantly. Weis decided to fold just as fast.

Dario Sammartino: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Mustapha Kanit: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

The two Italian friends had found themselves in an enormous cooler and Sammartino wouldn't get out. The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Sammartino moved his stack to Kanit.

Down to four players now, all guaranteed 123,980.

Timothy Adams Eliminated in 6th Place ($75,460)

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Timothy Adams has another sixth-place finish under his belt. Just two days after finishing sixth in the $50,000 Super High Roller for $110,920, he's taken the same spot in the High Roller.

It happened when Adams moved all in under the gun for 283,000 and Oliver Weis called from the small blind. Koray Aldemir then moved all in over the top for 619,000 from the big and and Weis snap-called.

Weis: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Aldemir: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Adams: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Weis was looking for an eight to score the double elimination, while Adams' best shot at surviving was to find an ace. Neither of those situations came to fruition though as instead the board ran out a clean {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Aldemir took down the 1.5 million pot.
