High Rollers Arriving
Level 2
: 75/150, 0 ante
Expect to see a number of high rollers enter this field on Day 1a at the PokerStars Championship Bahamas Main Event. That's because there's a $25,000 Single-Day High Roller on the schedule for tomorrow during Day 1b, incentivizing these players to fire during Day 1a.
Some of them have begun to trickle in already, including Spaniard Sergio Aido. Aido has been on fire since the beginning of November, putting together a string of big cashes, including a career-best $1,337,019 for a runner-up finish at Triton Super High Roller Series in February.
Here are some of his other big results in recent months:
- Won HK$100,000 High Roller at Macau Poker Cup 26 for $267,302
- Second in €10,300 High Roller at EPT Prague for €177,965
- Third in HK$500,000 Main Event at Triton Super High Roller Series for $848,557
Aido will be a player to watch as this Main Event unfolds.
