Petrangelo Jams Into Pollak

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Benjamin Pollak opened to 4,500 and picked up a single caller in Nick Petrangelo from the big blind. On a flop of {Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}, Petrangelo checked and called a bet worth 3,600. Petrangelo bet the {6-Spades} turn for 6,000 and Pollak asked for his stack size.

"I have 27,000 behind," Petrangelo replied and Pollak called. The {2-Diamonds} river completed the board and Petrangelo moved all in instantly. Pollak used one time bank and folded."Wow you finally let me get one through?" Petrangalo said with relief and Pollak asked him if he "had it.

Petrangelo shook his head and flashed one of his cards to Pollak only before sending them into the muck.

Luca Needs Two Time Bank Chips

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Ivan Luca raised to 5,100 in middle position and Oleksii Khoroshenin defended his big blind. Khoroshenin checked the {Q-Spades}{K-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, Luca bet 6,500 and Khoroshenin called.

The turn paired the board with the {Q-Clubs}, putting two flush draws out there. Khoroshenin led out for 17,000 and Luca called. The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Khoroshenin moved all in.

It was for effectively Luca's remaining stack of 70,000 and the Argentinean went deep in the tank. With the shot clock in play, Luca needed two time bank chips to give himself two additional minutes to think about it. He checked out Khoroshenin's remaining stack and studied the Ukranian intensely before settling on a fold.

Sam Greenwood was the initial raiser from under the gun and Ole Schemion called out of the big blind. The German checked the {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and called a bet of 2,500 before the {8-Hearts} turn was checked through. Schemion overbet the {4-Hearts} river for 20,000 and Greenwood reluctantly called to get shown {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for trips fours as winning hand by Schemion.

Christoph Vogelsang raised to 3,800 and Xiaoyang Luo was the only caller out of the big blind. On a flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, Luo checked and Vogelsang continued for 3,200. Luo wasted little time before check-raising to 9,700 and that forced a fold from Vogelsang.

The German was involved into another pot with Steve O'Dwyer soon after and faced a bet of 30,000 on the {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Even after using one time bank extension, Vogelsang could not find a call and sent his cards into the muck.
