Uskov Quadruples; Then Busts

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

While Igor Kurganov doubled, fellow countryman Alexander Uskov was reduced to less than one big blind and moved all in for 11,000. Fedor Holz raised to 32,000 and Manig Loeser reshoved for 144,000 in the small blind. That got Holz out of the way and Uskov had the chance to more than triple up thanks to the big blind and antes.

Manig Loeser: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Alexander Uskov: {K-Spades}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Uskov quadrupled. One hand later, he shoved from under the gun and the action folded to Sergio Aido in the big blind. The all in was for 48,000 and Aido called.

Alexander Uskov: {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Sergio Aido: {Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}

After a board of {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Aido claimed the pot with a pair of queens and Uskov headed to the rail.

Bensadoun Doubles

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Minutes ago, we wrote that [Removed:119] was getting short. He's still not bulking with chips, but he did double.

He pushed for 76,000 from the cutoff and big blind Nick Petrangelo called. Bensadoun had the better of it with {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} but wasn't a huge favorite against the {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} of Petrangelo. The board ran out {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and things were already decided on the turn.

Bensadoun Getting Short

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo opened the hijack for 25,000 and Isaac Haxton (button) and [Removed:119] (small blind) called.

Bensadoun and initial-raiser Petrangelo checked on {4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and Haxton bet 30,000. Bensadoun called, Petrangelo folded.

The {3-Hearts} on the turn saw Bensadoun check-call 67,000 before he check-folded to Haxton's all in on the {K-Hearts} river.

"That Was More Fun to Lose Than to Win"

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Dan Smith defended his big blind against a raise by Charlie Carrel and checked the {Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. Carrel's continuation bet saw a check-raise all in for 84,000 as follow up and Carrel quickly called.

Charlie Carrel: {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Dan Smith: {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

On the {5-Spades} turn, Smith improved to a set and joked with a "bingg", which Carrel took with a smile on the face. The {3-Clubs} river was a blank and Smith doubled, Carrel then added "that was more fun to lose than to win." Despite losing this all in, Carrel is on the way up as of lately with just under half a million left.

Ramin Hajiyev: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Stanley Choi: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Choi hit the rail.

Aido Takes from Peters

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

In a battle of two big stacks, David Peters opened to 22,000 and Sergio Aido three-bet to 75,000 out of the small blind. Peters called and the flop fell {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Aido continued for 55,000 and Peters called before the duo checked down the {Q-Spades} turn and {10-Hearts} river.

Aido rolled over {10-Spades}{8-Spades} for two pair and that ended up winning the pot.

Luca and Bensadoun Double

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The second bullet of Dominik Nitsche brought no success either and he has been eliminated. Soon after at the same table, [Removed:119] shoved for his last eight big blinds from the button and Rainer Kempe called in the big blind.

[Removed:119]: {7-Spades}{4-Spades}
Rainer Kempe: {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The kicker problem would turn into fortune for the Frenchman, as the board ran out {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Ivan Luca also scored a double. He faced a raise by Alexander Uskov on the button and shoved out of the small blind for 166,000, which Uskov called.

Ivan Luca: {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Alexander Uskov: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

The {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop was of no help for Luca with the inferior flush draw, but he spiked the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. A blank {6-Diamonds} river changed nothing anymore and Luca survived.

Seidel Busts Kenney

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Bryn Kenney with pocket aces and Seidel with pocket queens got their chips in before the flop.

Kenney, who won the 100,000 Super High Roller earlier this festival, had the best hand but it wouldn't hold. Seidel's {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} sucked out on the aces as the board ran out {Q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}. Kenney out, Seidel well above average.

Badziakouski Eliminated

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

After doubling up Dvoress just a couple hands ago, Mikita Badziakouski was short. Just now, Badziakouski (under the gun) got it in before the flop with {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} up against the {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} of Mustapha Kanit (cutoff).

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Badziakouski hit the rail.
