Alexander Lakhov opened for 500 from first position and Aleksandr Tyavin sat next to him made it 1,500 to go. The player on the button called and it was back on Lakhov once the blinds folde.
Lakhov bet two chips worth 6,000 which the dealer initially mistook for a call and when Lakhov corrected her the player on the button too argued that it was a call. It was two chips however and it was a raise.
A bemused looking Tyavin called and the button folded.
The flop was 
and Lakhov bet 4,000 which Tyavin called leaving 8,500 behind.
The turn card was the 
and with a shrug Lakhov bet all his high denomination chips. Tyavin was left shaking his head and short stacked as he folded.
