Soon after, Martin Wendt opened to 23,000 and Vardjavand called from one seat over. The duo checked the flop and the turn before Wendt bet a blank river to force a quick fold from Vardjavand.
Andre Haneberg raised to 18,000 from early position and Martin Wendt defended his big blind. On the flop, both players checked and Wendt check-called a small delayed continuation bet on the turn. Wendt then checked the on the river and Haneberg made it 22,500 to go.
