Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Jan Sigel
Jan Sigel

Michal Lubas opened to 225,000 on the button and Ulrich Pauls called in the small blind. Jan Sigel moved all in out of the big blind and Lubas asked for a count. The all in was for 1,840,000 and Lubas gave it some consideration before moving all in over the top.

Pauls double-checked his cards and folded {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} face up.

Jan Sigel: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Michal Lubas: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop gave Lubas top pair and he needed to avoid running outs to eliminate Sigel. After the {8-Diamonds} turn, Sigel was drawing to a jack and a jack only, and the {10-Diamonds} river was a blank. Sigel takes home 47,410 for his efforts and Pauls will enter heads-up for the title and trophy with a comfortable lead.

Behzad Zarnegar: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Ulrich Pauls: {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Pauls Has Over Half of All Chips in Play

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

- Ulrich Pauls raised to 275,000 from the small blind and Jan Sigel called. They both checked through the {4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} on the flop and the {3-Spades} on the turn. The {K-Spades} completed the board on the river and Pauls bet 320,000. Sigel checked his cards once more and then folded.

- Pauls bet 350,000 from the button and was called by Behzad Zarnegar in the big blind. Both of them checked through the whole board which was {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}. Pauls showed {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} but was beat by Zarnegar with the {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades} he held.

- Pauls now limped in from the cutoff and Zarnegar raised to 500,000 from the small blind. Pauls called. The flop came {J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Zarnegar announced a bet of 1,000,000 but he didn't put any chips over the line. Pauls snap-shoved all in for about 6,900,000. The dealer asked Zarnegar to put 1,000,000 over the line as he had announced the bet. Zarnegar complied and then looked at Pauls with a bit of shock he had gone all in. In the end, he folded.

"I Was Afraid You Have Aces"

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Michal Lubas raised to 225,000 in the cutoff and Behzad Zarnegar called in the big blind. The flop came {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Zarnegar checked, Lubas bet 200,000 and that won the pot right there.

In the next hand, Ulrich Pauls limped in first to act and Zarnegar completed from the small blind. Lubas raised to 450,000 in the big blind and Pauls limp-raised to 1,150,000. That forced out Zarnegar, but Lubas stuck around to see the flop of {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}. The Pole checked and Pauls bet 1.0 million. After a brief starting contest between the two of them, Lubas folded.

"I was afraid you have aces," Pauls said and flashed the {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} before collecting the pot.

Andrei Nodea

Behzad Zarnegar limped from the hijack and Michal Lubas did so from the cutoff, Ulrich Pauls called on the button. Andrei Nodea raised to 1,050,000 with 75,000 behind in the small blind and Bo Rundstr?m in the big blind gave it some thought. The Swede counted his stack carefully and elected to fold.

Zarnegar moved all in for more than 1.6 million and that forced out Lubas and Pauls, while Nodea called and immediately asked "do you have aces?"

Andrei Nodea: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Behzad Zarnegar: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}

Nodea picked up some chop outs but eventually fell short of the miracle on a board of {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to join the rail in 6th place for 22,770. After all was done and dusted, Rundstr?m said in table chat that he folded pocket nines.
