PokerStars Michigan Championship of Online Poker (MICOOP) Event #31: $250 NLHE [Sunday Special SE], $100K GTD came to an end early Friday morning with "DegenCNol" defeating "xvuszvs2739" heads-up for the first-place prize of $12,749.11 ($5,352.41 + $7,396.70 in bounties).
The action started with 77 players and that number kept gradually building until the 276 total entries became official. The tournament met its guaranteed prize pool in Level 11 and generated a $64,308 prize pool ($32,154 regular prize pool & $32,154 bounty prize pool) after 276 total entries became official meaning, the top 39 finishers would get a piece of the pie with 80 players remaining.
Once registration ended, the remaining field dwindled quickly as "JaDoncic" bubbled the tournament at the start of Level 20, leaving the remaining players in the money.
From there, players started dropping by the wayside as "grandma1967" (38th place - $264.86), Patrick "MSPT-HOF" Steele (31st Place - $264.86 + $58.25 in bounties), "TY_GOVWHITMER" (17th Place - $322.20 + $502.41 in bounties), "Drago25785" (15th Place - $391.95 + $844.64 in bounties), and "floridurrrr" (10th Place - $476.79 + $1,143.13 in bounties) all got a piece of the pie but fell short of the making final table.

Final Table Action
"Gotzillions" came into the final table at the bottom of the chip counts so it was no surprise to see them become the first casualty with "tkfly1324" following shortly after.
The next level saw "Dublistic" fall victim holding ace-nine againg "LawernceTaylor" holding king-queen. The flop was safe for "Dublistic" but a king appeared on the turn ending their night. "tombrady1977" got their money in good preflop holding a pair of tens but "sexycaitlyn" turned an ace, sending them packing.
Five-handed action saw eventual winner "DegenCNol" go on a straight heater, as they eliminated their final four opponents in just two short levels to secure victory.
