Day 1 Completed
The final table of tonight's Thursday Thrill event was simply dominated from start to finish by “hashtagmtglife." They claimed six of the eight possible eliminations at the final table. As a result, they took home over three times the amount of money as anyone else, thanks to them collecting over $11,000 in Progressive Bounties.
"hashtagmtglife" started the final table second in chips, and they claimed the first elimination of the final table when they busted “outaahere” in ninth place. “Outaahere” got their final chips in after the flop with a flush draw, straight draw, and over cards, but none of them would come through, sending them home in ninth.
Next, there was a double elimination, with “hashtagmtglife” once again doing the dirty work. This time, their pocket queens held up in a three way all in against the jacks of “49642”, and Ace-King of “CancelChristmas.”
“Hashtagmtglife” kept their winning ways going with another knockout, this time of “Paulie_Card$” in sixth place. The latter was in great shape to double up preflop, but by the river, “hashtagmtglife” had made quads queens to claim yet another bounty.
Next, it was time for “MrMonkeyJones” to join the knockout action. They would have to come from behind, as their caught up with the Ace-Nine of “jeroh07” after flopping a pair of fours. No nine would come from there, getting play down to just four handed.
Fourth place would end up belonging to "StormRider7777", busting with Ace-Queen to the pocket kings of "ChrundleTheGr8."
The “hashtagmtglife” show continued from there however. First, they would once again come from behind, when their Ace-Eight bested the Ace-Ten of “MrMonkeyJones.”
“hashtagmtglife” began heads up play with a massive lead, and it only took a few hands for them to close it out in dramatic fashion. "ChrundleTheGr8" was all but guaranteed a key double up when they got their final chips in the middle with a set of sevens on the turn, but “hashtagmtglife” managed to hit their four out straight draw to claim the final bounty of the event.
