Chilaud Wins Flip Against Viana

Level 41 : 450,000/900,000, 112,500 ante

A button raise by Fernando "fviana" Viana prompted the shove of Maxime "Daghemuneguu" Chilaud in the small blind for more than 32 million and Viana called after brief consideration.

Fernando "fviana" Viana: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Maxime "Daghemuneguu" Chilaud: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Chilaud needed to improve and did so thanks to the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. The {5-Diamonds} turn was a blank and so was the {3-Diamonds} river. Neither player had a diamond in their hand and Chilaud secured the double.

Viana in the Driver's Seat

Level 41 : 450,000/900,000, 112,500 ante

Fernando "fviana" Viana raised to 1.8 million and was called by Maxime "Daghemuneguu" Chilaud from one seat over in the cutoff. Viana fired a first bet of 2.25 million on the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop and 7.02 million on the {q-Hearts} turn. The {4-Hearts} river brought a third barrel for 17.55 million and Chilaud called to then muck when Viana tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} for the overpair.

Two hands later, "serggorelyi7" raised and folded to Viana's three-bet.

Sergei "Futti18" Koliakov won a pot and then Vlada "Vlada2108" Stojanovic raised to 2.07 million. Viana flat-called and Chilaud three-bet to 6,888,888 to finally catch a break and win the pot.

Koliakov three-bet jammed the next hand into Chilaud's raise and the Frenchman released his cards.

Viana Takes Over the Lead

Level 41 : 450,000/900,000, 112,500 ante

"serggorelyi7" raised it up to 1.8 million and was called by Fernando "fviana" Viana in the small blind as well as Maxime "Daghemuneguu" Chilaud in the big blind. The trio checked the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop and a bet of Viana on the {5-Clubs} turn won the pot, vaulting the Brazilian into the lead.

Viana then raised the button to 1.8 million and Chilaud three-bet to 6,888,888. Viana gave it some thought and bumped it back up to 17,550,000 which sent Chilaud into the think tank. Ultimately, Chilaud opted to fold and Viana consolidated his lead.

That lead grew by a few blinds the next hand as Viana also got through with a successful three-bet against Vlada "Vlada2108" Stojanovic.

Koliakov Wins Battle of the Blinds With Chilaud

Level 39 : 350,000/700,000, 87,500 ante

Several smaller pots brought no major action and up next it was Maxime "Daghemuneguu" Chilaud who applied pressure out of the small blind with a raise to 2,225,555. Sergei "Futti18" Koliakov stuck around from the big blind and they headed to the {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop on which Chilaud continued for 1,675,555 and was called.

The {5-Hearts} turn went check, check, and the {2-Spades} followed on the river. Chilaud invested a few seconds of his time bank before checking and Koliakov claimed the pot with a bet of 2.2 million as Chilaud folded instantly.

Lots of Three-Bets Around

Level 39 : 350,000/700,000, 87,500 ante

Vlada "Vlada2108" Stojanovic opened the button to 1,608,000 and Maxime "Daghemuneguu" Chilaud came along out of the big blind. Chilaud check-called a first barrel for 2,160,000 on the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop and did so again for 4,800,000 on the {j-Spades} turn.

Once the {5-Clubs} fell on the river, Chilaud checked and Stojanovic made it 8,400,000 to go. Chilaud used a decent portion of his time bank and elected to fold.

Chilaud then got some chips back by three-betting a raise of "serggorelyi7" from 1.6 million to 6.1 million to min-raise fold against a push of Sergei "Futti18" Koliakov one hand later.

"serggorelyi7" raised once more, to 2.4 million in the small blind, but Stojanovic shut him down with a three-bet to 7.376 million.
