At 7:05 p.m. CEST, the 2020 PokerStars Stadium Series Freezeout Weekly Final - High: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max] kicks off with a wonderful guaranteed prize pool of $1,500,000. The previous weekly final was won by Michael "munchenHB" Telker for $157,004 with 2,101 players flocking to the freezeout tournament. The second weekly final features a higher buy-in this time as the previous edition cost players $530 to enter the tournament.

Many familiar names locked up a cash last week with a star-studded final table playing down to a winner on Tuesday as all the weekly finals are 3-day events. Eli "Timunim" Fagundes, Patrick "Nelepo10" Ulyssa, Xiaoxiao "W.Leung" Niao, Paulius "D3cor" Vaitiekunas, and Manuel "fellatiado" Ruivo have already earned themselves a ticket to the Grand Final on August 2 but probably won't complain if they reach another final table in this weeks edition.

Other players to keep an eye on include the guys from the 'The Sidemen Crew". PokerStars has welcomed a few YouTubers to the party: JJ "KSI" Olatunji, Simon "Miniminter" Minter, Josh "Zerkaa" Bradley, Tobi "Tobjizzle" Brown, Ethan "Behzinga" Payne, and Callum "Calfreezy" Airey. Theyll be playing in the Stadium Series Weekly and Grand Finals together to see who can crush it the hardest.

The PokerStars Twitch Stream with James Hartigan, Joe Stapleton, Sam Grafton, and Griffin Benger is live too with cards-up coverage of Heat 15CH ($1,050 PKO) on a 30-minute security delay. And they'll be online every day with exciting coverage of the tournament with this one getting the spotlight on it from Monday or Tuesday onwards.

Players who enter the Weekly Final will get 100,000 chips in their starting stack and play 20-minute levels according to the structure tab in the tournament lobby. Late registration will be possible for the first five hours and 35 minutes of play. Day 1 is scheduled to end when the money has been reached with Day 2 resuming on Monday, July 20 at 7:05 CEST. Day 2's play will then continue until the final table of at least nine players has been reached which will then play down to a winner on Tuesday, July 21.

PokerNews will be there from the first raise until the bubble has burst today so make sure to follow the updates right here!
