The action at the United States Championship of Online Poker (USCOOP) on PokerStars has been relentless for the past three weeks. Today is expected to be no different with top players from New Jersey and Michigan set to do battle in Event #83: $2,500 High Roller Championship ($150,000 GTD), the highest buy in of the series.
This past week saw several players take down USCOOP titles in championship events. “squeeze.it.plzz” took down one of the biggest scores of the week after winning Event #58: $500 High Roller Super Tuesday Championship $80k GTD for $18,881. Other big scores from last week’s championship events include Joseph "Servonious" Cervo, winner of Event #53: $200 Freezeout Championship $25k GTD for $6,937, and “cloucas” who took down Event #64: Storm Championship $55k GTD for $12,237.

Players will begin with 1,000,000 chips, blinds of 3,000/6,000 and an ante of 750. The blinds will increase every 12 minutes for the first five levels of the tournament and then every 15 minutes thereafter. Late registration will be available for the first three hours and thirty minutes of play with a maximum of three re-entries being permitted. This event is a one-day event and as such action will only finish once a winner has been crowned.
