Team Akkari Leads the WCOOP League After Day 1 of the Series
The 2024 PokerStars WCOOP is up and running, and Team Akkari has wasted no time in accumulating points for the hotly-contested WCOOP League. Team Akkari amassed 85 points on the opening day of the series, thanks to Laurie "LaliTournier" Tournier finishing eighth in the $530 NLH Progressive Knockout event.
Team Tonkaaaa finds itself only 10 points behind the leaders after Niklas "Lena900" Astedt finished seventh in the $109 NLHE Turbo Progressive Knockout.

Darwin2" Mattsson, Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic, and "Revenge4Dodo," Team Spraggy drew a blank on Day 1 and are the only WCOOP League team without a point to show for their efforts.
