Day 2 of the PokerStars WCOOP-16-M: $1,050 NLHE Thursday Thrill Special Edition will kick off at 7:05 p.m. CEST with 108 players out of 1,048 returning to battle it out for more bounties and a bigger share of the $,1048,000 prize pool. They have all already secured a min-cash of $1,152 but they will all have their sights set for that first-place prize of $73,667 and more bounties along the way.

Coming back today with the chip lead is Brazil's Matheus "ThugWaffle" Resende with 3,470,298 in chips. Resende is followed fellow country man Diego "Mr.Bittar" Bittar with 2,814,266. Russia's Dmitry "yurasov1990" Yurasov (2,743,266), Latvia's Pavels "Rigapols81" Spirins (2,668,574), and Tyler "Wonderboy222" Goatcher (2,256,106) from the United Kingdom complete the top five of the counts.

But there are still many familiar names and faces left in the field with players like Dylan "ImaLucSac" Linde, Henri "buehlero" Buehler, Ben "jenbizzle" Jones, Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski, and Marc "14alonso14" Macdonnell, Joao "Naza114" Vieira, Oliver "sk2ll_m0dR" Weis, Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson, and recent two-time WCOOP winner Chris "ImDaNuts" Oliver for example back later today.

When the players return, they will play the remainder of Level 21 which has a small blind of 10,000, a big blind of 20,000, and a running ante of 2,500. Once they're done with that, Level 22 will commence with a small blind of 12,500, a big blind of 25,000, and ante for all players of 3,250. Level duration will remain at 20 minutes throughout the tournament.
