20 Players Return to Battle It Out for at Least $101,250 and the Title in the PokerStars WCOOP-39-H: $5,200 NLHE [Progressive KO, High Roller]
Day 2 of the PokerStars WCOOP-39-H: $5,200 NLHE [Progressive KO, High Roller] resumes at 7:05 p.m. CEST after all the players enjoyed a break. The tournament collected 173 entries for the $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool and 20 of them return to battle it out. They have all secured at least $9,004 plus any bounties they have already earned but will have their sights set on that top prize of $101,250 and more bounties.
"wesoly78" is back today with 5,036,933 after in chips with "bayaraa1002" following them with 4,828,054. Completing the top five are Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph (4,382,833), "Serebity_p" (3,404,066), and Sergei "Futti18" Koliakov (3,210,575).
"Pwndidi", Gleb "Ti0373" Tremzin, "girafganger7", and "Garrin4e" all bagged an above average stack but players like Niklas "Lena900" Astedt, Pieter "XMorphineX" Aerts, and Viktor "papan9_p$" Ustimov are also still in the running with more than 20 big blinds. Ognyan "cocojamb0" Dimov, Manuel "fellatiado" Ruivo, and Patrick "pads1161" Leonard are sporting shorter stacks but could run it up at any time.
When the players return, they will continue with Level 22 which has a small blind of 30,000, a big blind of 60,000, and a running ante of 7,500 as only a minute or so has been used of it on Day 1. According to the tournament lobby, the level duration won't increase until the final table has been reached so the levels should last 20 minutes each until that point.
The PokerStars Twitch Stream will be live today with commentary provided by James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton with hole cards on a 30-minute delay.
PokerNews will be right here to bring you all the action right here on a similar delay until a new WCOOP champion has been crowned.
