Joslyn Busts a Shorty

Level 14 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

A player in early position shoved for their last 64,500 and was called by Samuel Joslyn in the hijack. Everyone else folded and hands were revealed.

Samuel Joslyn: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Early-position player: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

It was a coin flip, but the {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} runout kept Joslyn best with his sevens and he eliminated his opponent.

Weng Drills The River to Double up

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Bin Weng was all-in preflop for his last 109,000 from the hijack against a player in early position.

Bin Weng: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Early-position player: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop and {10-Spades} turn saw Weng get up from his seat; however, just as he did the {j-Spades} completed the board — giving Weng a winning set for the double.

Moon check-called a 16,000 bet from his opponent on the {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop and a 26,000 bet from his opponent on the {2-Diamonds} turn.

Both players checked on the river and Moon showed {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}. It was good, as Moon's opponent mucked and Moon took down the pot.

Lerner Sends Wingerden Out

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Michael Lerner
Michael Lerner

Three ways on a flop of {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} in what appeared to be a three-bet pot, Michael Lerner checked from the big blind and the player in the hijack checked as well to Cottrell van Wingerden, who bet 20,000 on the button. Lerner called and the hijack folded.

The {j-Spades} fell on the turn and Lerner checked to Wingerden, who announced he was all in for around 80,000 total. Lerner stuck in a call to put Wingerden at risk and hands were tabled.

Michael Lerner: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Cottrell van Wingerden: {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Wingerden was bluffing and would need to hit a king to survive. A {4-Spades} came, leaving Lerner best and Wingerden was eliminated.
