The second event of Jason Somerville's 2015 Run It Up! Reno series from the Peppermill in Reno, Nevada, turned out to be an exciting affair. The $85 All-In-or-Fold No-Limit Hold'em tournament surpassed all expectations when it draw a raucous crowd that pumped out 112 entries and a prize pool of $14,390. At the end of all the carnage at about 1:30 a.m. local time, Brandon King proved the last man standing to win the $4,748 top prize and the right to be called champion.

Not only did King packet nearly $5,000 from the prize pool, but he was also the last Run It Up! warrior standing sporting Run It Up! gear that earned him a $565 Main Event buy-in as part of the last-longer prize. To earn the victory, King defeated Jamey Johnson in heads-up play.

William Recker finished in third place, and his performance thus far shouldn't be overlooked. Not only did his third-place finish in this event earn him $1,799, but Recker placed fifth in the $125 Tuesday Takeoff opening event earlier today for $1,188. That put his total earnings from 2015 Run It Up! Reno just shy of $3,000 with plenty more events to come.

Also finishing at the final table were James Wehe (4th - $1,223), Joe Nelligan (5th - $971), Michael Kinney (6th - $755), Garret Purdy (7th - $612), T.J. Dillashaw ( 8th - $468), and Anthony Summers ( 9th - $324).

That does it for Day 1 action from Reno, but there's plenty more still to come, including a morning workout on Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time hosted by UFC Bantamweight Champion and eighth-place finisher in this event T.J. Dillashaw, plus the $125 Survivor No-Limit Hold'em at 2 p.m. local time.

With that, the two were virtually even in chips.
