Peter Rabover just took in one of the bigger pots that's developed in the opening minutes of the Mini Main Event, and his opponent on the losing end of the hand went to the rail just a couple of hands later.
A big pot was already brewing with the board reading . Rabover check-called a 3,000 bet from the cutoff opponent, bringing in the on the river.
Rabover checked again, the cutoff bet 4,000, and Rabover immediately raised to 10,000. The cutoff agonized over the decision for a a couple of minutes before finally making a reluctant cal. Rabover turned over for the set, leaving the opponent with just 1,600 chips.
A look at the table a couple of minutes later showed that the short stacked player was out of the tournament.
