Henry Gingerich opened for 65,000 from middle position and James Hall, who sat atop the chip counts earlier in the day, three-bet jammed for right around 775,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Gingerich, and he made the call.

Hall picked the wrong spot and was up out of his seat even before the flop came down

turn gave him pause as he picked up a flush draw, but he missed it as the 
bricked on the turn. With that, Hall was bounced in eighth place while Gingerich extended his chip lead.

Ryan Phan limped the button and Henry Gingerich did the same from the small blind. Robbie Kent checked his option from the big and three players took a flop of 
. Gingerich led out for 40,000, both his opponents called, and the appeared on the turn.
Gingerich slowed down with a check, and that opened the door for Kent to shove all in for 365,000. Phan thought for about a minute before releasing his hand, and then Gingerich took an equal amount of time before doing the same.

Since the elimination of Jim Devaney, action has slowed to a crawl at the final table. Still, that hasn't stopped some railbirds from watching the action, no doubt chomping at the bit for a big pot to go down. It'll happen eventually.

Jeff Fielder opened for 65,000 from early position and Jim Devaney just called. The rest of the players folded and it was heads-up action to the 
flop. Fielder check-called a bet of 80,000, and then checked the 
turn. Devaney shoved his stack, and Fielder wasted little time in making the call.

Devaney had slow played his kings preflop, and he paid the price on the turn as Fielder paired his ace to take the lead. The river was a blank, and just like that one of the local favorites found himself on the rail in ninth place for $5,630.

In one of the first hands of the final table, RunGood Ambassador and Day 1a chip leader Ryan Tepen moved all in for his last 230,000 or so under the gun and Calvin Musil called from the cutoff. The rest of the players folded and the cards were turned up.

Tepen was well out in front, and his position got even stronger when the 
flop delivered him a top set. In fact, the only way Musil could win was with either running sevens or straight cards.
"Oh, wow. Eight?" James Hall said when the 
turn made the straight a possibility. It proved to be a brutal precursor as the spiked on the river.
"Good game," Tepen mustered before making a beeline for the door.
