Meet the Kinders of Imperial, Missouri. Father Marty, and sons Kyle, Ryan, and Drew. They've been playing poker tournaments together for a little more than a year. Kyle briefly held the chip lead in Flight B before bagging 133,000 at the end of the flight. The remainder of the Kinders are all in contention in Flight C.
Marty says they came to the RGPS at Downstream in December so that Drew, the youngest, could play. "Drew is 18, so he can't play most places. But he can here," Marty tells us. So far, the Kinders have cashes in HPT events, including a couple final tables and four-digit prizes.
Knowing sibling rivalry, Kyle's 133,000 chips is the real target for Ryan and Drew. Though making to Day 2 would be nice, too.
