Stroud Increases His Chip Lead
A player in early position raised to 15,000 and was called by Tim Gilliam on his direct left from middle position. Matt Stroud then three-bet to 40,000 from the hijack and action folded around to the original opener, who four-bet all in. Gilliam thought for a bit and then folded, resulting in a quick call from Stroud.

Gilliam appeared to have flashed his cards before folding them with what looked like the visible, prompting Stroud to ask him what he folded as he made the call. Gilliam said he folded .
Much to Stroud's delight, he had faded the coin flip and was now firmly ahead of his opponent, poised for the knockout and the pot to go along with it. The flop came , getting a response from Gilliam along the way. The turn fell and the river came behind it to complete the runout, leaving Stroud's queens best at showdown to bring him near a quarter-million a few minutes later once his chips were all stacked.
