Martin Ruemenapp opened the action with a raise to 70 from under the gun and saw calls from the next two players on his left by Kevin Koch in early position and Dennis Jones in middle position. Mykel Comroe then put in a three-bet to 500,000 from the hijack.
All players folded back around to Jones, who went into the tank for some time. After a minute had passed, he told Comroe he figured he had ace-king but that he didn't want to flip for his tournament life, folding 
face-up as he watched the pot go to Comroe.
