Dakotah O'Dell Eyeing Back-To-Back RGPS Main Event Final Tables
It was just two weeks ago that Dakotah O'Dell found himself down to the final four of the RGPS Contenders Council Bluffs $575 Main Event, where he agreed to a chop that netted himself and the other three remaining players $48,771 (another of whom was Kaleb Dunn, also present in this event).
Though the money was settled, the four remaining players agreed to play down to a winner nonetheless to see who would claim the trophy and accompanying RunGood Pro-Am seat that will be run later this year. From there, it didn't take long for O'Dell to be the one to come out on top.
The score was the largest of O'Dell's career, with his lifetime Hendon Mob live earnings now totaling $82,233. Prior to that, his other largest score was also at Horseshoe Council Bluffs, when he took third place in a $525 Main Event from 390 entries this past the New Years for $17,822.
Now, O'Dell has come further south to test the waters along the Mississippi, and after getting bounced from this afternoon's Day 1b flight earlier, he is back in action on Day 1c. We'll be sure to follow O'Dell's journey to see if he can make back-to-back deep runs here in Tunica.
