Big Paydays Ahead on Day 2 of $1,000,000 RunGood Season Finale
After two player-friendly opening flights to start the biggest RGPS Contenders Series Main Event ever, business is about to pick up on Day 2 here in Northern California.
So far, 397 entries have taken their shot at a piece of RunGood Poker Series history. Returning Monday are 164 remaining contenders with even more starting at 26 big blinds before registration closes once cards are in the air at noon local time to start level 9.
Before the day is done, players who make it deep enough will claim a share of the $1,000,000 guaranteed prizepool. Details will be announced once registration closes and final numbers are tallied.
Through the opening pair of flights, it’s two-time World Poker Tour champion Cornel Cimpan taking the chip lead into Monday’s second day of play with 344,500 chips. Just behind him is popular vlogger, streamer, and coach Michael Loncar with 310,500 chips.
They both brought their stacks from Day 1b, while Day 1a chip leader Lane Jacobson and his 283,000 chips enter the day with the third-largest stack.
