The RunGood Poker Series $800 Main Event at Graton Casino in Rohnert Park, California has concluded its entry days with the conclusion of its Day 1c and 1d today. The numbers of the flight ticked up as expected, with 650 players coming out to play the final two flights of the main event.

The total prize pool is $730,100, with the 132 players returning tomorrow all guaranteed $1,175 and all eyes on the first-place prize of $122,385.

Leading the final two flights is Dan Sarasin from Day 1d who ended his day with 611,000. Sarasin has just one recorded Hendon Mob cash, that came in the RGPS studio ring event last September for $545. With his bag today he has ensured that his lifetime earnings will at least triple, as well as putting himself in prime position for a deep run at a massive score and his first RGPS ring.

Rob Boston Rob Mariano found his way to a sizable bag of 367,000 after just flying back from the Global Poker Awards in Las Vegas Nevada at PokerGO studio. He will be one of only a few looking for his third RGPS ring in this massive main event.

Rob Mariano
Rob "Boston Rob" Mariano flew in this morning to play the flight, and ended the day with a sizable stack.

The day was not kind to all, as many players like Shirin Oskooi, La Sengphet, Benjamin Underwood, Michael Loncar, WSOP bracelet winners Ian Steinman and Pat Lyons all fell by the wayside in their quest for RGPS glory. They will have to look to the events following the main event this week for any such jewelry to fall into their possession.

The 132 players will return tomorrow at Level 15 and blinds at 4,000/8,000 with an 8,000 big blind ante. The levels tomorrow following the first will become 40-minute levels, with a 15-minute break occurring after every three rather than every four. Play will continue down to a winner.
