Day 1b of The RunGood Poker Series $600 Main Event Begins Today at 11 am
After yesterday��s massive turnout of 156 entries, The RunGood Poker Series Checkpoint $600 Main Event at Jamul Casino in San Diego, California, will begin its second flight today at 11 a.m. Players will be eligible for another chance at this Main Event title and to snag a piece of the $150,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Those who end the day with chips in hand, will join the 20 survivors from Day 1a that finished their entry day yesterday. Leading the way of yesterday��s flight was Chad Utke who ended his day with 657,000. Utke has final tabled one RGPS event before and his massive chip lead has put him in a position to make another run, this time in the Main Event.

Others that made it through the day included Victor Kulish (498,000), Gary Crite (455,000), Tim Acker (426,000), last year��s runner up Rich Alsup (180,000), and former RGPS Jamul main event champion Noel Eicher (170,000). Players expected to pop in this flight include Garry Gates, Johnnie ��Vibes,�� Moreno, Lexy Gavin-Mather, Bob Mather, Mark Feinberg, Tavish Margers, Rich Lanes, and Rob ��Boston Rob�� Mariano.
Players will begin the tournament with 30,000 in chips with blinds beginning at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Levels will last 30 minutes, with a 15-minute break occurring after every four levels. Registration will remain open until the beginning of level 9, after which the players will play until there is only 12.5% of the field remaining.
The surviving players will guarantee themselves a minimum cash and advance onto Day 2 where levels will be upped to 40-minute levels. Those who do not find a bag on this flight will have ample opportunity tomorrow to fire again. This tournament is unlimited reentry and players who bag multiple times will see their smaller stack taken out of play for a minimum cash, while their bigger stack will remain in play.
