A flurry of big doubles have prevented the bubble from bursting.

First up was a big heads-up pot with K?3?Q?4? on the board. Action checked to Jason Isbell, who tossed out a 20,000 bet. Ron Slucker made it 75,000 and Karl Grant called before Isbell ducked out of the way. Slucker shoved immediately on the 5? turn and Grant called with his last 75,000 to turn over 7?6? for a straight. Slucker was shocked and he showed his Q?Q? before he tossed them in the muck.

Nearby, Tom Millward raised to 15,000 and Perry Johnston shoved 80,000. Millward called and the cards were turned up.

Perry Johnston: Q?Q? All in
Tom Millward: 10?10?

The board ran out A?9?3?J?9? and Johnston held on for the double.

One hand later, Kelly Salgado got her last 88,000 into the middle and Albennes Armstrong looked her up.

Kelly Salgado: Q?Q? All in
Albennes Armstrong: [J?J?

The board ran out 3?5?4?9?Q? and the queens held to keep Salgado in the mix.

Play continues hand-for-hand with 66 runners remaining.
