The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) may have just concluded, but the PokerNews live updates will continue to roll in in the form of the second annual $600 buy-in, $500,000 GTD The Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship ! Just like last year, this exciting event will kick off today at 10 a.m. at Thunder Valley Casino Resort just north of Sacramento, California.

The tournament is in partnership with three-time Best Mid-Major Poker Tour, the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS), which is currently hosting their final stop of the Destination season at Thunder Valley. Thats because RGPS has provided their top 5 Poker Players of the Year a prize package of over $2,000 in value which includes airfare, hotel, and buy-in for The Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship.

Leading this group is the official RGPS POY Brian Winter, who was awarded this title a few weeks ago and will be presented with his very own banner that will travel around with RunGood throughout the following year.
