Lowery Sent to the Rail with Queens

Level 20 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Daniel Lowery
Daniel Lowery

On a heads-up flop of Q?8?10?, Daniel Lowery and big stack Todd Nichols got all the chips into the middle, with Lowery's tournament life on the line.

Lowery flipped over Q?Q? for top set while Nichols tabled K?J? for a monster royal flush draw.

Unfortunately for Lowery, Nichols immediately hit the flush when the 6? hit the turn and the 5? river failed to pair the board, sending him to the rail.

Karn and Emery Share a Pot

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

After it limped four ways to a flop of 8?9?Q?, Papa Karn led out for 40,000 and was called by Shaun Emery and one other player.

On the turn 2?, Karn continued for 25,000 and again both of his opponents called to see the 5? roll off on the river.

Action then checked to Emery who bet 55,000 and was called by Karn while the other player got out of the way.

Emery then flipped over J?10? for a flopped straight and Karn tabled J?10? for the exact same hand to chop the pot.

Williams Falls to Nicoletti's Aces

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Chris Williams
Chris Williams

On a heads-up flop of 2?Q?4?, Chris Williams and Kenneth Nicoletti got all of their chips into the middle, with the latter barely covering.

Williams flipped over A?Q? for top pair, top kicker, but it was no good when Nicoletti rolled over A?A? for a superior pair.

The runout of 10?K? failed to improve Williams and he was sent to the payout desk as Nicoletti raked in the substantial pot.
