Money Bubble
With 108 entrants, it was anticipated that 13 players would make the money and bag up for Day 2. However, after 22 hands of hand-for-hand play, both short stacks in the field were eliminated on the same hand.
First, Will Costantini knocked out the short stack at his table after turning a king and claiming the last 15,000 chips of his opponent. Meanwhile, at another table, Eric Bunch, who started the hand with 16,000 chips, found himself all in at the river but was eliminated by David McFeely, who held a flush. As a result of these two knockouts, only 12 players from the final flight made the money.
Day 2 will begin at 12:00 p.m. local time on Sunday October 27.
