Joey Gargiulo Wins His Third RGPS Ring In The Opener
The first open event of the RunGood Poker Series saw a total of 69 players take their seats in Event #2: $250 Opener Event. This created a prizepool of $13,800 to be divided by the final eight players.
It became a clash of two RunGood legends as Jules Cornelius got heads up for her fourth RGPS title and Joey Gargiulo got heads up for his third. Both coming into the final table with the massive stacks, the both of them celebrated a very friendly rapport as the final table edged on to its conclusion.
At the end of the day, Gargiulo��s pockets twos held up against Cornelius�� two overcards and the decorated tournament regular took home his third RGPS ring. Gargiulo had been manifesting this particular outcome since at least the beginning of the series and now secures his seat to the Thunder Valley Dream Seat Invitational.
