Hizer Takes a Chunk from Lynn

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

After a player in earlier position raised to 1,000, Andrea Hizer three-bet to 2,400 in middle position. In the hijack, Sean Lynn cold-called and the initial raiser called.

On the 9?6?3? flop, Hizer continued for 4,400 and only Lynn called.

The turn brought the 3?. Hizer fired a second barrel for 6,000 and Lynn almost beat her into the pot as he called.

On the 2? river, Hizer slowed down with a check and Lynn tossed out a bet of 8,000 which was quickly called.

Sean Lynn: Q?Q?
Andrea Hizer: K?K?

It was a cooler scenario with both players holding premium hands as Lynn scooped a sizeable pot early in the day.

Terry Dominated but Doubles

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

After two limpers in early position, Robert Heard made it 2,700 to go from the small blind. In the big blind, Brandon Terry jammed for his remaining 22,500. The limpers quickly folded while Heard contemplated for around 30 seconds before he decided to put in the call.

Brandon Terry: A?Q? All in
Robert Heard: A?K?

Terry was in rough shape as his tournament life hung the balance before the Q?5?4? flop vaulted him into the lead. Nothing changed on the 9?4? runout as he collected the full double at the expense of Heard.
