The first of three Day 1 flights in the RunGood Poker Series main event here at Hard Rock Tulsa, Oklahoma has come to a close with $79,560 of the event's $100,000 guaranteed prize-pool already accounted for and two flights still left to play. The day saw non-stop action from onset to end with 153 total entries sitting down in an attempt to find a bag for Day 2. Of those 153 entries, 20 players will return to join the players that end up bagging the two remaining Day 1 flights, both of which will take place tomorrow.

Ending the day with the chip lead for this flight was Jackson Turrentine, who will unbag 554,000 chips when the three Day 1 fields converge on Sunday to play down to a champion. Joining him at the top of the end of day chip counts is Jael Lewis (541,000) who is fresh off her best career live cash and looking to add to her already impressive resume.

Also taking a seat in the first Day 1 flight but failing to find a bag was defending champion Pete Petree and Brian Frenzel, who earlier in the day extended his all-time RGPS ring lead to seven by taking down two rings back-to-back, one in the Flip And Go event before max late regging the PLO event after taking his winner's photos and taking that down as well, all within 5 hours.

Play ended with 14:09 left on the clock in level 15 with blinds at 4,000/8,000 and a 8,000 big blind ante.
