Day 1b of the RunGood Poker Series Tulsa Main Event Kicks Off at Noon!
After an exciting flight 1a of the RunGood Poker Series at Hard Rock Tulsa, Oklahoma main event that saw 20 players make the money and advance to Day 2 play, the first of the final two starting flights will kick off today at 11:00 p.m. With the Day 1a session bringing in 153 entries, covering almost $80,000 worth of the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool, we're certain to see the guarantee having already been surpassed headed into the last of three starting flights later today with serious potential to well over triple that $100,000 mark.
Flight 1c begins at 6 p.m. and will be the last chance for players to bag for a chance to chase the title and what will assuredly be a huge first-place prize.

Yesterday saw Jackson Turrentine put the most chips into the bag (554,000) while notables Jael Lewis (541,000), Bryce Laymance (535,000), Michael Phillips (370,000) and RunGood Poker Series Ambassador Julie Cornelius (197,000) all bagged a top ten stack as well. Also forging a path to Day 2 is fellow RungGood Ambassador Greg Raymer, who will come back to 100,000 chips when the fields combine for the final day tomorrow at noon.
Players to fire the 1a session and bust before bagging included defending champion Pete Petree, RunGood Ambassadors Daniel Lowery and Mike Murphy and all-time leading RGPS ring winner Brian Frenzel, who earlier in the day had won two rings in less that 5 hours to extend his leading ring count from five to seven. Players in the remaining fields are almost certain to see these faces in the field with them, though, as players can play all flights of this event in their chase for the title.
Players will begin with 30,000 in chips, with the blinds beginning at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Every level will last 30 minutes, with 15-minute breaks after every four levels. After level 8, players will go on their final break before registration closes and play will continue until 12.5% of the field remains, which will see the remaining players bag up and move on to Day 2 having already made the money. Those who do not find a bag in this flight can exercise their right to re-enter the third and final flight beginning tonight at 6:00 p.m.
