Verardi Rips The Turn
Level 2
: 100/100, 100 ante
With 4,800 in the middle and the flop reading , Andre Verardi bet 1,700 and was called by Hal Marcus.
The turn came and Verardi continued for 2,600. Marcus asked the dealer for the count and slid out 7,100. But confusion transpired as Marcus thought he had placed in a call. He had mistaken a dark purple 500 chip for a light purple 5,000 chip. The floor was called and the ruling was that it was a raise.
Verardi shoved all in and Marcus folded.
