The Day 1 flights are a wrap in the RunGood Poker Series Jamul Casino $575 Main Event. Day 1b and Day 1c played to their completion Saturday from Jamul Casino in San Diego, California, and Day 2 is set to commence today at noon.

The survivors from Saturdays Day 1b (50) and 1c (39) flights will join the Day 1a survivors (37) from Friday, and the 126 total players will come back as a combined field for Day 2. The tournament is scheduled to crown a champion today.

Big stacks from Day 1b include Tan Trieu (395,000), who ended the flight with the chip lead from the Day 1b field. Other big stacks from the flight include George Muitashiobya (208,000), Geramy Dickerson (206,500) and Mark Kogan (177,000).

Day 1c big stacks include Steven Wendroff (264,000), who ended with the biggest stack from Saturday's second flight.

Those players will join chip leaders from Day 1a such as Matt Bradford (386,000), who will begin Day 2 as the second largest chip stack. Other big stacks from Day 1a include Joe Stapleton (244,000), Tyson Apostol (163,000), and Ewart Boyd (144,500).

The 126 returning players for Day 2 will compete for a share of the $279,500 prize pool. The $100,000 guarantee in this event was far surpassed, with official payout structure paying 70 places, and $53,545 to the eventual champion. The $575 Main Event drew a total of 559 entries.

After 12 half-hour levels on each of the Day 1 flights, Day 2 will switch to 45-minute levels, until a champion is crowned.

The eventual winner will win the first-place share of the prize pool, a RGPS ring and $550 seat to the RGPS All-Stars Pro-am event at the PokerGO Studios in Las Vegas, set for December 2021.
