Who Will Claim the Title in the 2020 SCOOP Event #10-H?

Event #10-H Lobby Day 2
Event #10-H Lobby Day 2

The second high stakes progressive knockout of the 2020 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) will draw to a conclusion today and 93 players out of a field of 1,157 entries remain in contention for the lion's share of the $1,157,000 prize pool in Event #10-H $1,050 NLHE (PKO).

Best-positioned for the top cash prize of nearly $80k is Romania's "mandan1979" who vaulted into the top spot in the last half an hour of Day 1 when he clashed twice with Andras "probirs" Nemeth. He will enter with a stack of 5,080,902 and Lithuania's "Mikensonas" follows in second place with 4,365,087.

Portuguese poker pro Jorge "jorginho88" Abreu is in third place with a stack of 3,023,682 and several other notables will return to their seats at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) such as Rui "sousinha23" Sousa, "necgaidziai" (1,802,178), Ariel "ArielBahia" Celestino (1,296,197), Manuel "manuverd0n" Bardon (1,031,526), and highly-ranked Swedish online MTT grinder Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson (977,912).

Furthermore, the three former EPT Main Event champions Robin "robinho" Ylitalo (1,153,065), Andrey "ThePateychuk" Pateychuk (1,142,296) and Rob "batoelrob" Hollink (718,459) are also among the contenders for the title.

All remaining players have a cash prize of $1,489.46 locked up and while the pay jumps may be small for the first few hours, the progressive bounty prizes for each elimination will ensure fast-paced action from the get-go. The smallest bountry is worth $500 while the largest so far stands at $6,375.

The blinds will recommence in level 23 at 15,000-30,000 with a running ante of 3,750 and the levels will last 20 minutes each until a champion is crowned. Every three levels, each player also receives an additional 10 seconds for their time bank.
