Day 2 of PokerStars 2020 SCOOP Event #44-H: $5,200 NLHE [Sunday HR SE] is set to start at 1 p.m. EST with 31 players out of 264 entries returning to the online tables. The event attracted 190 unique players who reentered 74 times to create a prize pool of $1,320,000 with the winner walking away with a whopping $253,819 while everyone is already guaranteed at least $12,025.

”Sintoras” finished Day 1 with the chip lead as they collected 5,205,138 in chips. They are no stranger to online succes with one of their most recent publicized wins being in the $530 NLHE (PKO) during the PokerStars Winter Series for $27,766 and $24,360 in bounties. They are followed by Scott “Aggro Santos” Margereson (4,287,837) and Daniel “Oxota” Dvoress (4,244,801) in the top three of the chip counts.

But there are so many familiar names and faces left to battle it out, players like Joel “Odonkor1” Nordkvist, Sergei “Futti8” Koliakov, Alexandros "mexican222" Kolonias, Jans "Graftekkel" Arends, Pedro "pm_marke" Marques, Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford, Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle, Tomi "elmerixx" Brouke, Daniel "Razer2311" Rezaei, Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood, Chris "ImDaNuts" Oliver, and Kahle "ROFLshove" Burns are some of the ones in the top 20. And the rest of the field is no joke either.

As Day 1 ended as soon as the money was reached, the expectation is that the eliminations will be flying in as soon as the cards get dealt. Play will resume with Level 21 which features a small blind of 25,000, big blind of 50,000, and a running ante of 6,000. Level duration will remain at 30 minutes throughout the day and play will continue until a new winner has been crowned.

The PokerNews live reporting will be there from the first beeps until the final hand has been dealt so tight while the updates come in for your pleasure.
