Before the Final Table

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams was eliminated as the first player in the money yesterday so he couldn't join in with the fun today. The ten remaining players returned at 1 p.m. EST today to immediately play for the final table bubble with O'Dwyer doubling up first before Sulsky left before the final table was reached. He shoved his last eight big blinds in with nine-eight and was called by O'Dwyer who held ace-seven. Sulsky turned a pair of eights but O'Dwyer rivered top pair to get the field to the final table.

From Nine to Three Players

Nemeth came into Day 2 with the chip lead and only increased it throughout the day. Three players went into the final table with stacks worth 20 big blinds or fewer so they were all waiting for the right spot before putting their tournament lives at risk. Holz tripled up while behind with queen-ten against the kings of Shakerchi and the tens of Nemeth when he flopped trips. But Vousden was the one to leave the final table first when he got his queen-ten in and was looked up by Buldygin who held ace six.

Two hands later, Holz was eliminated when he ran his pocket deuces into the ace-seven of Shakerchi. Twenty minutes later, Schemion busted in a monster pot when he held pocket kings and five-bet shoved after O'Dwyer has already four-bet shoved with ace-queen. Nemeth called both with pocket aces and the bigger stack but saw the flop come queen-queen-jack for him to pay O'Dwyer the double-up but claim the remainder of Schemion's stack.

A few hands later, Buldygin three-bet shoved with ace-trey and was called by Zhou who held king-eight. The kings on the flop and turn meant the end of Buldygin's tournament life. It would then take 40 minutes before Shakerchi was eliminated. He got all his chips in with king-nine and was called by Zhou who had the rockets to send Shakerchi packing. Vieira left immediately after when he shoved with ace-seven and Nemeth called with king-nine. They both flopped a pair but Nemeth was ahead with the kings and stayed there.

Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira finished in 4th place for $240,744

Three Hours For a New Champion

Three-handed play would last almost 150 minutes with O'Dwyer doubling up through Nemeth first to take away his chip lead, Zhou then kept adding more chips to his stack before Nemeth doubled back up through O'Dwyer. The chips went flying around the table but O'Dwyer then took over the chip lead with Zhou and Nemeth hovering around the 5 million mark.

Nemeth doubled up with two pair while O'Dwyer missed his straight and flush draw to take the chip lead with Zhou as the shortest stack who ended up jamming with ace-jack. Nemeth called with queen-deuce and flopped trips before improving to a full house on the river. Nemeth went into the heads-up with a 2-1 chip lead but O'Dwyer doubled up once with jack-ten and two flopped pairs before the stacks evened out.

Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth finished in 2nd place for $403,096

Nemeth was then left short when his pocket nines were ahead on the seven-five-four flop when O'Dywer had the open-ended straight draw but rivered the pair of kings to double up. He couldn't recover as in the final hand he called with ace-king while O'Dwyer had king-ten and rivered two pair on the deuce-seven-four-seven-ten board to end the tournament.

This is it for the Super High Roller action for today but stick around as there's still loads of SCOOP left to follow and the PokerNews live reporting team will be there to bring you all the updates!
