All eyes will be set on PokerStars ambassador Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis who enters the final day of the PokerStars 2020 Spring Championship of Online Poker Event SCOOP-57-H: $5,200 NLHE [High Roller] as of 1 .pm. Eastern Standard Time fourth in chips out of 20 remaining contenders and will be streaming his exploits on Twitch for fans from all over the world to see.
Veldhuis returns with a stack of 4,421,903 to his name, trailing only Canada's "BOOGANDEHAH" (6,312,129), fellow countryman Job "DeadNylan" Greben (5,860,740), and Hungary's "xnrobix" (4,999,639). Plenty other High Roller regulars are in the mix for the top prize of $201,606, however, and it will be a tough task to close out the event and become the latest SCOOP champion.
Joel "Odonkor1" Nordkvist just finished second in Event #44-H: $5,200 NLHE [Sunday HR SE] and wants to go one spot better this time, he returns with the fifth-biggest stack of 3,837,087. Nearly the entire level 22 remains with blinds of 30,000/60,000 and a running ante of 7,500, and the blinds will increase every 30 minutes. All remaining 20 survivors have $15,865.40 locked up but it's all about the bragging rights, a six-figure score and the SCOOP title that comes along with it for the High Rollers today.
