SCOOP-74-L: $109 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event], $3M Gtd
Day 4 Completed
After four days of play,"auercan" from Latvia was the last man standing in the PokerStars 2020 Spring Championship of Online Poker -74-L: $109 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event] after a three-way deal with "UruRey" and "penguy2". He claimed the top prize of $371,751 and the title for navigating through a massive field of 46,238 entries.
Nine hopefuls returned for the final day with "auercan" at the top of the counts. The Latvian had a good start to the day as he was responsible for the first elimination of the final table when "marma07" shoved ace-queen into his queens and he kept climbing for the next few levels.
When five-handed play got underway, "auercan" collided with Manuel "young_diam18" Blaschke who was the second biggest stack and he managed to get paid almost full value for his full house to find himself sitting on more than half of the chips in play.
Although it looked like an easy victory from here, with 15-minute levels, chips were rapidly swinging from one side of the table to another. "auercan" lost multiple pots in a row, finding himself as the underdog three-handed. "UruRey" proceeded to eliminate "penguy2" in third place and the final match kicked off with "UruRey" holding an 8:1 chip lead.
"auercan" didn't give up through and kept his composure. Between a couple of double ups, his run of good cards, and catching "UruRey"'s bluffs, he didn't take long to flip the script. "UruRey" was eventually left with only nine big blinds after multiple bluffs that couldn't get through 'auercan", and he called an all in with queen-ten from "auercan" who held ace-ten for his last chips. "auercan" stayed ahead to take down the tournament, while "UruRey" settled for the runner-up title instead.

"marma07" was the first casualty of the final table when he shoved ace-queen into "auercan"'s queens and couldn't find any help.
He was followed to the exit by "HellRaiserSB" in eighth place after he jammed his last four big blinds with queen-eight suited only to find himself in bad shape against's "LOL_U_91"'s aces.
Shortly after, "GeleiaTrsk"was eliminated in seventh place in a blind vs blind situation where he moved all in with king-nine suited into Manuel "young_diam18" Blaschke's aces.
"LukeN73" was Blaschke's next victim. He needed to find a spot to double up but he failed to do so after jamming ace-deuce and finding a call by Blaschke who had tens.
Blaschkle couldn't hold on to his newly acquired chips too long and it was all over for him when he lost most of his chips but 1 to to "auercan"'s full house. He headed to the exit the next hand in fifth place.
Next on the list was "LOL_U_91". He shoved with queen-ten suited and got called by "UruRey"'s ace-nine. Although "LOL_U_91" found a ten on the flop to take the lead, the river was an ace ending his run in fourth place.
"penguy2" put up a good fight three-handed but he headed to the rail after moving all in from the small blind with ace-nine against "UruRey"'s queen-ten. Although he was ahead, "UruRey" flopped trip nines to win the pot.
"UruRey" was a massive favorite heads-up but after losing multiple pots and a couple of bluffs that didn't go through, he was left with only nine big blinds. In the final hand of the night, he called an all in with queen-ten from "auerca" who held ace-ten and he couldn't find any help, ending his deep run in second place for $323,656.
