After almost nine hours, Day 1 of the PokerStars 2020 SCOOP-121-H: $1,050 NLHE PKO has come to an end with 138 players making it through to Day 2. The first few hours of the tournament attracted 1,831 unique players who reentered 608 times to get to a total of 2,439 entries to create a prize pool of $2,439,000 easily crushing the $1,500,000 guarantee which was placed on the tournament. All players who cashed walked away with at least $1,121 but the remaining players have already secured $1,865. The new SCOOP champion will walk away with the title, bragging rights, and $153,479 plus the bounties which were collected on the way to victory.

Taking the Day 1 chip lead into Day 2 is Brazil's "Rebozeio" with 6,722,646. They could be found at the top of the counts for most of the day but took a bigger lead when a 2 million pot was awarded to them when they had turned a flush. After the bubble

After the bubble burst, "kackvogel84" eliminated "Roykus" with a full house over the flush of the latter to make them the first player of the day to bust in the money. And they weren't the only ones as more than 200 players left the tournament today with a cash but no Day 2. Konstantin "krakukra" Maslak, Kenny "SpaceyFCB" Hallaert, Rachid "SkaiWalkurrr" Ben Cherif, Alexandros "mexican222" Kolonias all min-cashed before Dominik "Bounatirou" Nitsche fell to Evan "PURPLE"K"99" Parkes.

Felipe "Fepoker20" Meister was one of the final players to be eliminated when he shoved his last 3 big blinds in with ten-six and was looked up by Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford who held pocket tens.

Plan for Day 2

When the players return at 1 p.m. EST on Monday, June 1st, they will finish the last ten minutes of Level 24 which has a small blind of 17,500, a big blind of 35,000, and a running ante of 4,500. Play will continue until a winner has been found and PokerNews will be there for it all, so stick around.
