"bombon73" made the minraise to 2,400,000 from under the gun before "rolandinjo" reraised it to 8,160,000 from the button. The blinds folded and the action was back on "bombon73". They elected to four-bet to a cool 18,000,000 and this was enough to make "rolandinjo" forfeit the pot.
Some small pots have been played after the break, the latest of which saw "rolandinjo open from under the gun to 2,688,000. The only caller was "Bretera" in the big blind, and the two saw a flop of 6?Q?7?.
"Bretera" checked and consequently called the 4,538,160 bet of "rolandinjo". The A? turn was dealt and "rolandinjo" added 9,328,531 more chips to the pot via another bet. "Bretera" evidently did not like the turn, and check-folded this time around.
The action folded to "2ndOnly2God" in the small blind and they had the smallest stack on the table with just over 11 big blinds. They decided to go all-in for the 11,270,906 chips and big blind "bombon73" made the call.
"2ndOnly2God": A?2?
"bombon73": A?K?
"bombon73" woke up with a monster in the big blind and had his opponent in bad shape. When the 5?K?9? flop was dealt, "2ndOnly2God" was left with only runner-runner outs to scoop the pot. However, the J? turn sealed the deal in "bombon73"s favor and the chips were shoved to his avatar when the 6? completed the board.
No second place for "2ndOnly2God", as the UK-based player saw just over 75,000 dollars added to their PokerStars account for their seventh place finish. Meanwhile, "bombon73" solidified their second place on the leaderboard and is now the only player next to Vicente "vicenfish" Delgado with a nine-figure stack.
Vicente "vicenfish" Delgado made yet another open-raise to 2,070,000 from the hijack before "IReadB00ks" three-bet jammed 15 big blinds in the middle from the cutoff. "bombon73" sat waiting in the big blind and made the four-bet all-in for 55,469,107 when it got around to them.
Delgado folded for that amount and the other two players showed down.
"IReadB00ks": 7?7?
"bombon73: Q?Q?
"IReadB00ks" was in dire shape and needed to get lucky in order to still have a shot at the trophy. Alas, no help came for them on the 9?10?3?K? board, and the Q? river made the dominating stack a set to lock the pot up.
By winning this pot, "bombon73" separated themself from the pack and now sits in a comfortable second place, while "IReadB00ks" would go down in the history books as the eighth place finisher for $53,089.81
"moffo13" started off with a raise to 2,000,000 from early position before the table short stack "FAPTOBbIY_BACK" went all-in for 2,882,736. Chip leader Vicente "vicenfish" Delgado, who had won the majority of pot since the start of play, called, as did "moffo13" when the action folded back to them.
The pair then checked down the 4?Q?9?J?2? board, and "moffo13" was first to show. They tabled A?K? and a muck from the all-in "FAPTOBbIY_BACK" followed. Delgado, however, showed down his 7?7? and was the only player with a pair in the hand, resulting in another victory for him.
Meanwhile, "FAPTOBbIY_BACK" was the first casualty of the final table, taking home $37,540.23 for their efforts.
All nine players have connected to the PokerStars server and the first hand is being dealt. The exciting final table of the $1,050 SCOOP Main Event is officially underway.
