The SCOOP-72-M: $1,050 Super Tuesday SE at PokerStars kicked off yesterday with 1,258 entrants generating a $1,258,000 prize pool to smash the $1 million guarantee.
After nearly eight hours of play on Day 1, the field was trimmed down to just 99 hopefuls ready to battle it out for the $196,627 top prize.
The second and final day will begin today, April 21, at 7:05 p.m. CEST (1:05 p.m. EDT) at Level 21 with blinds at 12,500/25,000/3,250a and increase every 20 minutes until a winner is crowned.
Andras "probirs" Nemeth Leads the Final Table
Hungarian poker phenom Andras "probirs" Nemeth will enter the action with a massive 159 big blind stack of 3,978,894 in chips with Joao "Xungazz" Oliveira, Eder "edercampana" Campana, "M.Flush.N", and Tom "7tHEcROw7" MacDonald also virtually bagging more than 3 million in chips last night.
Nemeth is no strange to SCOOP success as he previously has won three SCOOP titles and is looking to add a fourth title to his resume today.
