The 2021 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker is on the home stretch and entered the final seven days of the competition. Among the latest tournaments to determine a winner will be SCOOP-77-H: $5,200 NLHE [High Roller]. The tournament came up just short of covering the $1 million guarantee as 193 entries emerged, consisting of 126 unique players and 67 re-entries.

Day 1 wrapped up last night once the nine-handed final table was reached and several well-known faces of the international poker circuit made the cut. Uruguay's Mario "MB TREMENDO" Bonanata enters the final table as the chip leader with a stack of 4,126,110 but Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas is not far behind with 3,605,055.

Estonian regular "DingeBrinker", who has deep runs in several COOP events to their name, is third in chips with 3,477,309. And there will also be plenty of tough competition by the likes of Bert "girafganger7" Stevens, David "dpeters7" Peters, and Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson.

Day 1 concluded at blinds of 25,000-50,000 with a running ante of 6,000, which will see the shortest stack David "MonkeyBausss" Laka return with just five blinds. Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson also has just 13 big blinds to his name but the Swede will be a threat to be reckoned with regardless of his stack size.

The action will continue at 1.05 Eastern Standard Time and all finalists have $24,895 locked up for their efforts so far. However, they will be gunning for the top prize worth $201,606 and the SCOOP title that comes along with it. Stay tuned to find out who accumulates all the chips, as the PokerNews team will provide comprehensive updates until a winner has been crowned.

All updates will be published on a security delay of 30 minutes, as the event is broadcasted on the PokerStars Youtube and Twitch channel with cards-up coverage and commentary.
