Kevin Cunningham was just eliminated by Jason Nablo, and we're officially on the money bubble. No talks of paying the bubble yet, so this may be a true money bubble unlike yesterday's Event #1.
One-time chip Leader Nick Walker just exited empty-handed. He got the last of his chips in preflop with against Pete Kaemmerlen's , and the board spelled the end of Walker's tournament life.
Andy Spears had an awful level, eventually losing the last of his chips in a preflop confrontation with Jason Nablo. Spears' couldn't outrun Nablo's , ending his tournament life in 17th place.
Tom Maher was sent packing moments later, leaving us with 16 players.
With 18 players remaining we're only six spots away from reaching the money in Event #2. The top 12 finishers will pocket at least $1,005, with the eventual winner earning $14,364. Some of the area's top talent is still in contention, so this should be a fun night of poker.

Leonardi's ace-high was in front, but the on the turn swayed the favor to Thomson's side. The completed the board, and Leonardi playfully fired some expletives before leaving the table.
