Blake Napierala has developed a reputation as one of the best tournament players in Western New York and winning Event #4 on the 2015 Seneca Niagara Summer Slam schedule last night only adds to it.

He also made the final table of the 2015 Western NY Poker Challenge Main Event this past March, finishing 5th, and has a slew of big scores in events big and small here in Niagara Falls and beyond.

A Registered Nurse by trade, Napierala is also winning in other areas of life right now, having dropped 40 pounds over the last few months to book a recent weight loss bet victory.

Weighing in today to collect the win, Napierala said he used a combination of a low-carb diet and regular exercise to shed the pounds and feels healthy and focused as a result.

He late registered for the Main Event moments ago and will certainly be one to watch today, even if there's less of him to see.
